yeah, just think that in 5 months from now, we'll be talking about the state playoffs in football. also, by that time we'll be talking about how each school's basketball team will be in the winter. in 7 months from now, baseball is just around the corner. we have alot to look forward to. I heard that Burton had 42 out lifting and getting ready for the season. If this is true then thats great news. Considering Burton only averages about 28-32 players a year. But I guess thats what happens when you start winning games and making it to state. speaking of burton and state games. Me and buddy Ryan (Freddy) was talking the other day about how we was the only team (our sr year) under Coach Adams to score in the state championship game(1998). Granted we lost 46 - 6 to Surry County. But atleast we can say we scored lol.
